Starting in 2015, the YWIES Lingang Campus is about to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The year 2024 is undoubtedly endowed with extraordinary glory. At this key milestone, we held the 2023/2024 annual dinner, not only as a celebration and gathering but also as an opportunity to look forward to the infinite possibilities of the future with great anticipation.

On this splendid summer night, the stars and lights complemented each other, with hundreds of parents, alumni, teachers, and students gathering to review the rich and colorful journey of the YWIES Lingang Bilingual Learning Community this academic year. We witnessed and celebrated the fruitful achievements of YWIES students, made possible through their unremitting efforts and outstanding talents.

The dinner opened with a lively performance by the school's string orchestra, playing "Bossa Rojo," igniting the passion of the audience and foreshadowing a bright future for YWIES Lingang.

Four bilingual student hosts—Jenny and Jerry from IG2, Gottfried from A2, and Seren from G6—kicked off the evening with fluent opening remarks in both Chinese and English.

The leadership team of YWIES Lingang School took the stage to deliver warm and sincere welcome speeches to the guests, parents, teachers, and students. They reviewed the school's outstanding achievements and looked forward to a grand future, encouraging everyone to work together for an even more brilliant tomorrow.

Eason, the school captain for the 2023/2024 session, who is about to pursue a degree in Engineering at the University of Oxford, and vice-captain Johnny delivered a wonderful speech. They recounted the many activities planned and successfully held by the student council, showcasing the positive and exploratory spirit of YWIES Lingang students.

The middle school orchestra's delicate performance and a solo by AS grade student Gloria with "Skyfall" took the audience into a profound and vast musical world.

The primary school string orchestra's performance of "Pink Panther" built a dreamy world full of fantasy with its cheerful melody, evoking sweet memories of childhood.

The CCA student dance club surprised everyone with "Jing Hong Dance," with lead dancer Jessica from G7 displaying a light yet powerful dance full of charm.

The choir sang "And So We Sing," conveying the power of love and hope, warming everyone's hearts on the summer night.

The musical "When I Grow Up," performed by students from the primary and junior high school, depicted aspirations for the future, showing the courage of youth and inspiring us to pursue our dreams.

The dinner was filled with more performances, including a graceful dance by Victoria from IG2 with "Water Sleeve Dance," a beautiful piano duet by Jason and Elaine with "Danse Macabre," and a band performance by Terry, Jake, Jason, Alexander, Lola, and Ms. Elaine with "The Most Beautiful Sunrise."

The achievements of the 2024 graduates are also remarkable, with each student receiving over six offers and scholarships totaling over 9 million RMB, covering more than 80 fields of study, and offers from top universities around the world.

The evening concluded with a powerful and confident performance of "This is Me!" by Gloria and computer science teacher Ms. Jodian, encouraging everyone to be brave and true to themselves.

Finally, the 10th-anniversary video of YWIES Lingang was released, a short film that outlined the school's ten-year journey with warmth and memory, looking back at the past and looking forward to the future.

The YWIES Lingang bilingual learning community has always been a closely connected group of students, parents, alumni, and staff.
