Recently, the first Career Development Day event was held in the auditorium. At this event, we were honored to invite three Lin-gang craftsmen and two parents of our students to visit the campus. Starting from their personal career paths, they deeply shared their own struggles and real experiences. These vivid cases not only provided valuable career guidance for the students but also offered practical advice for their future professional choices. Through this event, students were able to feel the unique charm of different industries up close, injecting new vitality and direction into their future life planning.

First, Mr. Liu Liangliang, who was awarded the title of Lin-gang Craftsman in the second session of 2020 — a senior equipment engineer at Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., brought a speech titled "Introduction to Stamping Technology and Prospects of Intelligent Stamping," revealing the mysteries of stamping technology and the broad prospects of future intelligent stamping to the students.

Next, Mr. Na Ke, the nominee for the Lin-gang Craftsman Award — the senior director of the development of culture medium at Shanghai Zhen Ge Biotechnology Co., Ltd., shared his experience and insights in the field of "Chemistry, Biology, and Drug Research and Development," giving students a deeper understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry.

Then, Mr. Tong Zhonghua, the nominee for the third session of the Lin-gang Craftsman Award in 2022 — a professional technical personnel at Shanghai Xinwei Semiconductor Co., Ltd., explained to us the "Relationship between Compound Semiconductors and Mathematical and Physical Sciences," allowing students to appreciate the charm of semiconductor technology and the practical application of mathematical and physical knowledge.

Mr. Qian Bin, the father of Qian Zixin, IG2 student, and a senior industry expert, provided an in-depth analysis of the "Banking and Insurance" industry's operation mechanism and looked forward to the industry's broad career prospects. His professional insights and experience sharing offered valuable industry insights to the teachers and students present, further broadening everyone's understanding of the financial industry.

Finally, Mr. Liang Tao, the father of Liang Jingkai from G5 and Liang Jingyi from G3 , presented a wonderful speech on the theme of "Artificial Intelligence and the Fourth Industrial Revolution." Mr. Liang Tao's sharing made students deeply feel the power of technological change and filled everyone with expectations and longing for the prospects of future technological development. His professional insights and unique analysis undoubtedly opened a door for students to the future world of technology.

During the Q&A forum, students, filled with curiosity and desire for the unknown world, raised a series of thought-provoking questions. They were curious about the challenges and opportunities in the field of new energy vehicle design, asking about the technical difficulties and market challenges that might be encountered in the design process, as well as the key skills and innovative abilities needed to overcome these challenges.

Some students looked forward to the future, showing a keen interest in the employment prospects of the biomedical field, wanting to know what employment directions and development trends are worth looking forward to in this field.

There are also students who pay attention to the speed of China's technological development and admire it. They eagerly asked questions, hoping to understand what China's future technology blueprint is in their respective professional fields, and what insights and opportunities young students can gain from it.

In addition, as economic finance is a university major chosen by many students, its prospects and changes are also highly concerned. Students asked about the development trend of the economic and financial direction and how they should prepare for various changes that may arise.

Of course, the rise of artificial intelligence is also one of the hot topics among students. They asked whether AI will threaten humanity and even replace most of the labor force, expressing concern and curiosity about the future job market.

These questions not only reflect the students' thirst for knowledge and concern for the future but also show their in-depth thinking and unique insights into different fields. Faced with these eager and knowledgeable questions, the guests answered in detail, not only solving the students' doubts but also stimulating their inner desire for knowledge and longing for the future. The whole Q&A process was like a spring breeze and rain, moistening the students' hearts, triggering wave after wave of surging emotions, and winning rounds of warm applause from the audience.

As the lecture was about to end, Ms.Maggie Zhou, the Chinese vice principal, specially invited a few students to share their feelings about this event on stage. The students expressed their opinions, with smiles of satisfaction and harvest on their faces. They all said that the content of this lecture was rich and in-depth, giving everyone a more comprehensive understanding of new energy vehicle design, biomedicine, economic finance, and China's technological development. The guests' sharing gave them a lot of inspiration, not only broadening their horizons but also stimulating their longing for the future.

"Students, today you stand at a new starting point. On the road of future learning, I hope you dare to imagine, dare to express, and dare to practice, and use your 'ingenuity' to forge your own future. Keep making progress, strive for innovation, and let your youth shine the most brilliant light in the struggle."

At the end of the event, Mr. Yao Yixun, the vice chairman of the Lin-gang Industrial Park Trade Union and the Lin-gang Group Trade Union, encouraged the students.
