On September 13th, YWIES Lingang hosted a grand CCA Fair on campus, showcasing over 200 CCA courses.  

TED Talks, Fencing, Discovery Education STEM, Model Airplane, Equestrian, Ballet, Magical Science, Music Drama, Drama, Piano ... Almost every course is a huge hit!

# ACADEMICS

Academics CCA includes a wide variety of courses, and this year we are also offering Academic Support Programmes. 

IELTS，Chemistry Practicals and Competitions，Economics Revision and Examination，CUGO Oriented Activities，Lexonic-English Intervention Advance Course，Science Homework Club，Psychology AS Remedial，Physics Competition Support 、IG2-AS Practical Biology and Academic Support are available for students to choose from. 

The Academic Support Programmes not only expand the depth and breadth of the courses but also enhance their value, helping students reach their full potential. 

# SPORTS

This year, our sports CCA has been upgraded again, introducing swimming courses to offer students diverse choices. 

The Paris 2024 Olympics have inspired every Yew Wah student, with swimming, fencing, and tennis undoubtedly ranking among this year's most popular courses.

Olympic champions such as Pan Zhanle, Vivian Kong and Zheng Qinwen have become the idols of our students. 

The newly-built gym is now fully operational, providing students with the opportunity to enjoy swimming, practice fencing and tennis, and participate in various training sessions and competitions. 

Additionally, the gym is equipped with fitness facilities to offer a better sports environment for students. 

We hope that through this diverse range of sports, students can discover and pursue their passions and dreams. Because everyone has the potential to be their own “Olympic Champion”! 

# ARTS

The best thing about the Arts CCA is that it's not limited to just painting, music, and dance. It also includes a variety of mediums such as theatre, photography, film, digital art and handmade creations.

In addition, we extend Arts CCA to cover all aspects of life, encouraging students to explore and express their thoughts and emotions in diverse ways. This enables them to better appreciate beauty and wisdom. 

We hope to enhance students' aesthetic ability, cultivate their problem-solving skills, and foster innovative thinking through the enrichment of aesthetic education.

# Students Leadership

Student Leadership is an important part of our campus culture, initiated by our students and guided by our teachers. 

This academic year, we have introduced several Student-led  Clubs through a series of selection processes. 

We believe that these Student-led Clubs will continue to bring vitality and innovation to our campus culture in the new academic year. 

CCA (Co-Curricular Activities) is an extension programme open to all students, and is an indispensable part of the holistic education at YWIES.  

Our CCA programme is divided into three main categories: Academics, Arts and Sports, reflecting our commitment to enabling students to develop in all areas. 

In the new school year, we hope that through rich and varied learning experiences and comprehensive support programs, every student will achieve well-rounded growth and become confident, balanced global citizen with an international perspective.
