01 Football Summer Camp

Location: Shanghai Yew Wah Lingang Campus

Daily English instruction by full-time foreign dormitory teachers

Coaching by AFC (Asian Football Confederation) A-level qualified coaches

Target Group:

Students aged 6 to 18 years old

First session: July 8th-14th

Second session: July 15th-21st

1. Basic football skills training

2. Specialized training (passing and shooting training)

3. Group confrontation (offensive tactics, defensive formation training)

4. Theory classes (understanding football and its rules)

5. Simulation teaching matches

6. Parent-student interaction (parent-child matches)

02 Basketball Summer Camp

Location: Shanghai Yew Wah Lingang Campus

Daily English instruction by full-time foreign dormitory teachers

Coaching by Chinese Basketball Association coaches & national first-level athletes

Students aged 6 to 18 years old

1. Basketball rules, theory, and refereeing

2. Individual basketball fundamentals training

3. Basketball team coordination and tactical training (team offense and defense training)

4. Individual physical fitness training (core body strength, explosive power, coordination, footwork, etc.)

5. Simulation teaching matches

6. Parent-student interaction (parent-child matches)

03 Aerospace & Aircraft Summer Camp

Location: Shanghai Yew Wah Lingang Campus

Daily English instruction by full-time foreign dormitory teachers

Students aged 8 to 14 years old

Second session: July 15th-21st

Third session: July 22nd-28th

National training: July 29th-August 2nd

1. National Youth Drone Competition national race training: 8,800 RMB/session

Course Content:

1. Using model aircraft as a carrier, combining theory and practice, engaging in intellectual learning, hands-on making, and personal flying

2. Integrating comprehensive knowledge of physics, electronics, and science, making it easy to understand and fun to learn

3. Personal experience in the design, making, and control of flying devices, allowing students to touch cutting-edge technology, cultivating creativity and hands-on ability

04 YCYW Somerset Cultural Centre English and Culture Summer Camp

Location: Yew Chung Yew Wah UK Somerset Cultural Centre

Target Group:

Yew Chung Yew Wah students in Grade 9 or above (2024-25 academic year)

Course Dates:

First session: July 8th-24th

Second session: July 29th-August 14th

Course Fees:

60,000 RMB/session (including round-trip airfare from Shanghai to the UK)

Course Content:

1. Cultural exchange experience, immersive English learning, enhancing students' English proficiency

2. Visits to UK attractions such as the Peak District National Park, Chatsworth House, etc.

3. Cultural tours: Exploring the London Eye, museums, and watching musicals
